Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Control:
• Leverage on project control processes and procedures.
• Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to established control frameworks.
• Drive margin improvement through the change control processes and risk management.
2. Compliance Management:
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to assess project compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with project teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
3. Risk Management:
• Identify and assess project risks related to control and compliance.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and work with project teams to implement them.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.
4. Review and Reporting:
• Encourage accurate and up-to-date project documentation related to control and compliance.
• Lead regular reviews on project control and compliance status with stakeholders.
• Identify the mitigation plans/actions with project teams and drive for the results.
5. Continuously Improvement:
• Continuously assess and improve project control and compliance processes.
• Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management activities.
6. Training and Awareness:
• Conduct training sessions for project teams on control and compliance requirements.
• Promote awareness of control and compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with control and compliance objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering or computer science related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Project Management, with a focus on control and compliance.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI organization or equivalent.
• Proven experience of Managing complex and large-scale projects.
• Good knowledge and handling of project (& Program) management methodology and techniques.
• Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience of working under Matrix organization.
• Proven experience in OT industries.
• High proficiency of English communication skill is a mandatory requirement.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Performance Metrics:
The PMO Control & Compliance Manager oversees critical projects in India and South Pacific from initiation to delivery, maintaining regular communication with project managers to ensure effective risk management. They coordinate project activities, facilitating interdepartmental meetings and communication to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion. Additionally, they are responsible for selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient departmental operation.
This individual collaborates with management to establish operational objectives and work plans, often spanning multiple functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. They participate in the development, modification, and execution of company policies with both immediate and companywide impact. Demonstrating adeptness in facilitating positive changes, they navigate sensitive situations and cultivate relationships with key contacts beyond their expertise area.
