Job Title: Manager – Accounts & Finance

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Job Purpose:

The Manager – Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of UDMRI, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and payroll management. The role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all financial transactions.

- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.

- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow efficiently.

2. Budgeting & Planning:

- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in coordination with department heads.

- Monitor variances and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

3. Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant laws.

- Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.

- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all statutory reports.

4. Payroll & HR Accounting:

- Oversee payroll processing, salary disbursement, and employee reimbursements.

- Maintain records related to gratuity, PF, and other employee benefits.

5. Internal Controls & Financial Policies:

- Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls to safeguard assets.

- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure financial integrity.

6. Team Management:

- Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team.

- Allocate tasks and ensure timely completion of financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA/CA-Inter) / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably in education/healthcare sector.

- Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- High integrity and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Tally, or similar accounting software.

Work Environment:

- Full-time role at UDMRI campus, Dehradun.

- Collaborative environment involving interaction with academic, administrative, and hospital teams.

Remuneration:

- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
