Job Description:

HSM Edifice Construction Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support construction projects by managing critical documentation, coordinating Requests for Information (RFIs), handling submittals, and ensuring smooth project close-out activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient project workflows, ensuring seamless communication between project stakeholders, and assisting in cost and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Document Management:

Analyze and manage construction documents on cloud platforms to ensure up-to-date information is available for the field team.

Ensure accurate and organized documentation of project-related files, drawings, and reports.

2. RFI (Request for Information) Management:

Review construction drawings and models to identify potential RFIs.

Assist in preparing, tracking, and managing RFIs to ensure timely responses from relevant stakeholders.

3. Submittal Management:

Understand project specifications and create submittal logs.

Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants to track and manage submittals on project management platforms.

4. Change Management:

Assist in tracking and updating cost changes due to design modifications or RFIs.

Ensure that all revisions are accurately recorded in project management systems.

5. Project Close-Out Activities:

Manage project close-out documentation, including warranties, guarantees, and acceptance of work.

6. Prior experience in foreign/international construction projects, including understanding of global workflows, documentation standards, and coordination with overseas stakeholders.

Ensure all contractual and regulatory close-out requirements are met for a seamless transition post-construction.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with contractors, and internal teams.
