About the Role:

We are seeking a Chemical Engineer with strong technical expertise in paints, coatings, and surface protection technologies. The candidate will play a key role in developing, testing, and implementing next-generation nanotechnology-based anti-rust coatings for metal and plastic substrates, ensuring superior performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and execute surface preparation techniques for metal and plastic substrates.
  • Apply and evaluate anti-rust nanocoatings (5–50 microns) for different industrial applications.
  • Develop and optimize coating formulations with low/zero VOC and high corrosion resistance.
  • Conduct performance testing — adhesion, salt spray, UV, thermal, and chemical resistance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and coating method guides.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Application teams for product trials and client demonstrations.
  • Support on-site trials, troubleshooting, and training for application teams and dealers.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Paint Technology / Polymer Science.
  • Experience: 2–6 years in paints, coatings, corrosion protection, or nanotechnology-based products.

Knowledge of:

  • Coating processes and surface preparation methods (blasting, cleaning, pretreatment).
  • Application techniques (spray, dip, brush, roll, electrostatic).
  • Film thickness measurement (5–50 microns range).
  • VOC and eco-friendly coating systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing ability.
  • Willingness to travel for project implementation and trials.

Preferred Exposure:

  • Nanotechnology or sol-gel-based coatings.
  • Experience with metal fabrication, automotive, infrastructure, or OEM clients.
  • Understanding of anti-corrosion standards (ASTM / ISO)
