Roles & Responsibilities

Field Sales & Business Development:

  • Conduct frequent on-site customer visits across the assigned territory to proactively identify and prospect new business opportunities, focusing on paint and coating manufacturers, formulators, and distributors.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial contact to quotation, negotiation, and closing the deal, largely conducted in the field.
  • Develop and implement strategic territory sales plans to expand the customer base and product penetration.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Technical Consulting:

  • Act as a technical consultant during client meetings, understanding customers' specific formulation needs and recommending the most suitable chemical raw materials (e.g., resins, pigments, additives, solvents).
  • Provide on-site technical support and product demonstrations, often collaborating with the internal R&D/Technical Service team.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints related to product performance or quality promptly.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct continuous market research during field activities to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product launches in the paints and coatings sector.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory analyses to management.
  • Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales pipeline and log all field activities and customer interactions.
