Job Title: Google Analytics Engineer

Job Description:

Exp - 3-5 years.

We are seeking a Google Analytics Specialist to drive data-driven decision-making by implementing, managing, and optimizing Google Analytics (GA4) tracking and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing and customer journeys, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and manage Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and related tracking tools.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to define tracking requirements for websites, mobile apps, and digital campaigns.

  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards and automated reports in GA4, Looker Studio (Data Studio), or other BI tools.

  • Monitor data accuracy, troubleshoot tagging/implementation issues, and ensure proper governance of analytics data.

  • Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and campaign performance to provide actionable recommendations.

  • Support A/B testing, personalization efforts, and attribution modeling.

  • Stay up to date on digital analytics trends, privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA), and emerging tools/technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital analytics, preferably with Google Analytics (GA4).

  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and campaign tracking (UTM parameters).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Experience working with digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social, display).

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with BigQuery and SQL for advanced data analysis.

  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems.

  • Familiarity with other analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude).

  • Certification in Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager is a plus.
