Role Proficiency:

Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering

Outcomes:

• Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

• Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.

• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

• Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

• Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles

• Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

• Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation

• Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

We are seeking a talented and passionate iOS Developer with 4+ years of overall experience in mobile application development, including 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SwiftUI, RESTful APIs/GraphQL, and unit testing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about building clean, scalable, and performant mobile applications. Experience or interest in AWS and DevOps practices is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI Integrate with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints for dynamic content Implement unit testing to ensure high-quality code and application reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, design, product) to define and ship new features Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for development best practices Work with CI/CD pipelines and explore DevOps practices (bonus) Leverage AWS services where applicable to enhance app functionality or scalability Mandatory Skills & Experience: 4+ years of overall mobile development experience 1–2 years of hands-on experience with: SwiftUI for building user interfaces RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL Unit Testing (XCTest or similar frameworks) Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle Proficiency in Swift and iOS SDKs Familiarity with version control tools like Git Nice to Have: Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g., S3, Cognito, Lambda, etc.) Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation pipelines) Experience with Combine or RxSwift Familiarity with the App Store deployment process Knowledge of performance tuning and memory management on iOS
