Job Description:
A Business Development Manager for Sales & Marketing identifies new business opportunities, develops strategies to increase revenue, and builds and maintains client relationships. Key responsibilities include generating leads, creating proposals, negotiating deals, and collaborating with internal teams like sales and marketing to ensure goals are met. 
 
Key responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market presence.
  • Market Research: Identify new markets, potential business opportunities, and industry trends through research and analysis.
  • Lead Generation: Find, attract, and qualify potential clients and partners to build a sales pipeline.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales plans, create pitches, and assist in closing deals.
  • Proposal Development: Create detailed business proposals and presentations that outline how the company's products or services can meet client needs.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new clients and partnerships.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set goals for business growth and monitor sales progress, reporting on results to leadership.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting, negotiating, and building relationships.
  • Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate and close deals to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about market opportunities and develop effective long-term plans.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the company's industry, competitors, and market trends.
  • Sales Acumen: A solid understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing.
