Position
: Assistant Manager/Manager
Salary – As per market standards
The role entails providing strategic leadership in research and content development to support organisational objectives and strengthen market positioning. The incumbent will work closely with the Managing Director to prepare thought leadership material, speeches, and reports for key engagements and external forums. The position requires strong research, analytical, and writing skills to produce accurate, credible, and impactful content aligned with the organisation's strategy. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior colleagues and fostering a culture of excellence in research, writing, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in the design and delivery of research initiatives, ensuring rigour, accuracy, and actionable insights that inform organisational decision-making
- Work directly with the Managing Director (MD) to prepare thought leadership notes, speeches, and content for all her speaking opportunities and external engagements
- Prepare and deliver high-impact speeches, reports, articles, and presentations for senior stakeholders, industry forums, and external audiences
- Lead the writing and development of high-quality content, including thought leadership pieces, policy briefs, research reports, and communication materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance across platforms
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis, translating findings into compelling written content that strengthens the organisation's market and intellectual positioning
- Ensure a robust understanding of subject matter to produce authoritative and credible communication
- Collaborate across functions to align research outputs and written content with organisational strategy and stakeholder priorities
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, fostering excellence in research, writing, and professional development
Required Experience and Skills
- 4–5 years of professional experience in research, content writing, speechwriting, or policy communication
- Degree in Economics (Bachelor's or Master's) is essential
- Proven experience in preparing speeches, articles, and reports for senior or external audiences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of professional English
- Ability to conduct independent research and produce accurate, well-structured, and insightful content
- Strong organisational capability with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines
