Franchisee Development Manager

The Franchise Development Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end investor engagement from sourcing and pitching to closing agreements and ensuring seamless onboarding. This role demands strong business acumen, financial expertise, and exceptional persuasion skills to position our franchise opportunity as a high-value, high-return investment. Acting as the key bridge between investors and the business, you will play a pivotal role in building long-term, successful franchise partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Sourcing & Prospecting
- Identify and engage with potential investors through networks, referrals, digital channels, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects across targeted geographies.
Pitching & Negotiation
- Develop and deliver impactful investor presentations highlighting the business model, ROI potential, and competitive advantages.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, webinars, and roadshows to engage potential partners.
- Lead negotiations, finalize agreements, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal frameworks.
Market & Business Understanding
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory frameworks related to franchising.
- Provide investors with insights on market feasibility, location strategy, and business projections.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with franchise partners and investors.
- Oversee smooth onboarding, training, and ongoing support for new franchisees to set them up for success.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 27 years in franchise sales, business development, or investor relations (preferably in sectors like retail, F&B, healthcare, or related industries).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing high-value investors or franchise partnerships.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of ROI models, P&L, business valuation, and market dynamics.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Networking: Strong professional network in the investment or business community is an added advantage.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
