Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile All-Rounder Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing a wide variety of dishes across different cuisines, manage kitchen operations, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure food quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
  • Work across multiple cuisine types (e.g., Indian, Chinese, Continental, etc.).
  • Ensure all food is prepared to high-quality standards and in a timely manner.
  • Plan menus and assist in creating new recipes or specials.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and supervise junior cooks or helpers.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs.
  • Control portion sizes and minimize food wastage.
  • Assist in cost control and managing kitchen budget when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a chef or cook in a commercial kitchen (minimum 3–5 years).
  • Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to handle multiple kitchen stations (grill, fry, prep, etc.).
  • Good organizational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification (preferred).

  • Fast and efficient without compromising quality.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
