Job Summary

As a Beauty Advisor in a multi-brand beauty retail environment, you will be the face of the store, helping customers discover and select the best beauty products across skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances. You will provide personalized consultations, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales while representing multiple premium and luxury beauty brands.

_ Key Responsibilities:_

  • Greet customers warmly and understand their beauty needs and preferences.

  • Provide personalized product recommendations across multiple brands.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, mini makeovers, and skincare consultations.

  • Offer honest, knowledgeable advice to build customer trust and loyalty.

  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to store goals.

  • Promote cross-selling and upselling to increase average transaction value.

  • Convert walk-in customers into regular clients through exceptional service.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of in-store brands, new launches, and best-sellers.

  • Stay updated on beauty trends, ingredients, and application techniques.

  • Attend brand trainings and workshops provided by trainers and representatives.

  • Follow brand guidelines for display, hygiene, and product presentation.

  • Ensure testers are clean, organized, and replenished.

  • Support visual merchandising standards to maximize product appeal.

  • Capture customer details for loyalty programs and CRM tools.

  • Follow up with clients for feedback, repurchase reminders, and new product launches.

  • Handle returns, complaints, and queries professionally and efficiently.

  • Assist in receiving, restocking, and stock count activities.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and store.

  • Adhere to company grooming guidelines and represent the brand image.

  • Demonstrate artistry skills by creating different looks using makeup.

  • Be in proper makeup and attire while on the shop floor.

Key Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (certification in cosmetology/beauty therapy preferred).

  • 1–3 years of experience in beauty retail, cosmetics, or skincare sales.

  • Passion for beauty, skincare, and makeup with willingness to learn.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Strong selling ability and confidence in product demonstrations.

  • Professional appearance, grooming, and artistry skills in makeup.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with premium or luxury beauty brands.

  • Multilingual abilities (Tamil & English required; Hindi is an advantage).

  • Comfortable using POS systems and CRM tools.

  • Makeup artistry or skincare consultation skills.
