About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals to join as Visiting Faculty – Machine Learning at our Mumbai campus.

The ideal candidate will bring both practical industry experience and conceptual clarity, guiding students through the end-to-end ML lifecycle — from data preprocessing to model deployment.

This is an excellent opportunity for industry practitioners who wish to mentor young talent and contribute to academia while maintaining professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver interactive lectures and hands-on sessions on Machine Learning concepts and applications.
  • Cover topics such as:
  • Supervised and Unsupervised Learning
  • Regression, Classification, and Clustering
  • Feature Engineering and Model Evaluation
  • Ensemble Learning (Random Forest, XGBoost)
  • Deep Learning (basics using TensorFlow/PyTorch)
  • Model Deployment and Interpretability
  • Design assignments, lab exercises, and mini-projects that encourage practical learning.
  • Mentor students on real-world ML projects, guiding them in problem-solving and experimentation.
  • Align course content with current industry practices and tools.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3–10+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Practical experience in data preprocessing, model building, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Prior teaching or corporate training experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • A passion for sharing knowledge and guiding students through applied learning.

Commitment:

  • 6–8 hours per week, on-campus at Patkar–Varde College, Goregaon West, Mumbai.
  • Flexible schedule suitable for working professionals.
