Job Title: Visiting Faculty – Marketing Analytics for Data Science

Location: Mumbai, India (Patkar–Varde College, Goregaon West)

Type: Visiting / Part-Time

Target Profile: Industry Professionals or Experienced Academicians with expertise in Marketing Analytics and Data-Driven Decision Making

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Visiting Faculty in Marketing Analytics to teach students pursuing Data Science and Business Analytics.

The role involves bridging marketing principles with data analytics — helping students understand how to leverage data for market insights, campaign optimization, and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate is someone who can blend marketing strategy, business acumen, and analytical tools to deliver an engaging, hands-on learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and workshops on Marketing Analytics, covering both conceptual and practical aspects.
  • Teach topics such as:
  • Marketing metrics and KPIs
  • Customer segmentation and targeting
  • Campaign performance analysis
  • Predictive modeling for marketing (CLV, churn, attribution)
  • A/B testing and optimization
  • Digital marketing analytics and dashboards
  • Integrate data science tools (Excel, Python, R, or Power BI) for marketing data analysis.
  • Guide students in real-world case studies and projects, focusing on marketing data interpretation.
  • Design and evaluate assignments, practical exercises, and student presentations.
  • Update course content in line with emerging trends in data-driven marketing.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3–10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts and business analytics frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, or other marketing analytics tools.
  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior teaching, training, or mentorship experience preferred but not mandatory.

Commitment:

  • 4–8 hours per week, on-campus at Patkar–Varde College, Goregaon West, Mumbai.
  • Flexible schedule suitable for working professionals.
