Role Description:

SDBI invites applications for the position of Visiting Faculty – Cloud Computing, with expertise in AWS and/or Azure. The role involves teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students to build a strong foundation in cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be a practitioner who enjoys sharing real-world insights and guiding students toward cloud certifications and professional success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on lectures on Cloud Computing (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Design and continuously improve course materials, including syllabi, labs, and assignments.
  • Mentor and guide students through projects and certification preparation.
  • Incorporate industry best practices and case studies into classroom sessions.
  • Evaluate student progress through assessments, practicals, and presentations.
  • Stay up to date with evolving trends in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and serverless technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven professional experience in Cloud Computing, with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Industry certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Additional GCP experience is a plus)
  • Prior teaching or corporate training experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners with varied technical backgrounds.
