Responsibilities

  • Write compelling captions, posts, blogs, newsletters, and YouTube scripts.
  • Build monthly/weekly content calendars aligned with campaigns and events.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short, engaging formats (snippets, reels).
  • Collaborate with design & campaign interns to ensure consistent brand tone.
  • Proofread and edit all written material for clarity and impact.

Skills Required

  • A passion for content development
  • Strong writing & storytelling ability – clear, concise, emotionally engaging.
  • Creative & intuitive thinking – transforming abstract ideas into relatable stories.
  • Content innovation – experimenting with formats like micro-stories, UGC campaigns, and interactive scripts.
  • Social awareness & cultural sensitivity – understanding audience realities (Gen Z, working professionals, parents, etc.) and tailoring content accordingly.
  • Emotional intelligence – writing with empathy, humor, relatability, or urgency as needed.
  • SEO & discoverability – keywords, hashtags, and content structuring.
  • Trendspotting & research – ability to catch cultural moments and adapt them.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools (Grammarly, Jasper, ChatGPT, ).
  • Attention to
    detail – grammar, consistency, and tone.
  • Collaboration skills – ensuring alignment between copy, visuals, and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing/completed degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or English.
  • Prior experience (blogs, social media content, campus magazines, freelance content) will be valued.
