The Logistics Group is part of Akamai's Service Management division. We collaborate with Partner Developers, Provisioning, Strategy, Supply Chain, Deployment, and Network Support vendors. We manage Akamai's network equipment from deployment to end-of-life. Our work spans import/export, warehousing, distribution, certifications, customs compliance, repairs, and transportation logistics.

As a Logistics Analyst, you will oversee distribution operations for Akamai's network equipment in your assigned region. You are responsible for end-to-end supply chain activities. This includes order undefined coordination with manufacturers, 3PLs, carriers, repair vendors, and internal network teams. Maintaining asset accuracy and ensuring timely and efficient logistics execution are critical aspects of the role.

As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Managing cost-effective and timely order undefined for deployments, maintenance, and decommissions.
• Processing orders via Siebel Sales ERP, ensuring SLA, protocol adherence & Coordinate with global vendors and partners.
• Preparing import/export documentation & monitoring and reconcile regional inventory, addressing discrepancies and updating the supply chain team.
• Troubleshooting and resolving shipping issues with urgency, escalating as needed & Build reports for milestone tracking.
• Maintaining internal documentation (WIKI) with updated regional/vendor processes and perform QA on hardware orders.
• Comparing freight quotes and recommend cost-effective shipping strategies and follow up on overdue RMA's and coordinate returns.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or & related field
• Have 34 years of relevant experience in global distribution, order undefined and supply chain
• Be familiar with Advanced Exchange programs and parts repair/replacement cycles
• Be proficienct in MS Excel, MS Access, and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Siebel).
• Have working knowledge of international shipping and logistics documentation.
• Have good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
