Responsibilities

  • Provides technical leadership for the testing team.
  • Preparing test plannings and executing them
  • Focuses upon long-term solutions and improvements to product testing processes, automation, frameworks/tools.
  • Work closely with Business teams and product management to ensure right test coverage.
  • Maintain defect triage process and continuous defect reviews.
  • Reviewing and analyzing test documentations and codes.
  • Responsible for closure of testing activities, including sign-off and documentation.
  • Experience in preparing reports on test results, defects, test coverage, and overall quality metrics.
  • Creating tracking metrics and preparing parameters to measure the success of a projects
  • Has ability to drive CI/CD Test Automation strategy.
  • Responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring team members.

Requirements and skills

  • Years of Experience: 5-8 years in Software Quality and Testing for both Manual and Automation Process.3+years in leadership will be an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release management/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
  • Overall experience should have exposure with both Functional and Non Functional testing procedures.
  • Working knowledge on SaaS and Cloud will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in defect management, QA process, and methodology.
  • Experience working in fast paced Agile environments with working knowledge of Scrum principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. ALM, JIRA, Azure) and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills, written & speaking.
  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or Scrum are desirable.
