Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and test automation, along with proven expertise in modern automation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to define testing strategies and ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless and reliable deployments.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide clear documentation and reports.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6–9+ years in software testing, with minimum 3 years in test automation.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.
  • Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
  • Certification: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is mandatory.
