Software Test Engineer

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for HRMS modules (e.g., Attendance, Payroll, Appraisal, Leave Management)
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios
  • Perform end-to-end product testing, including regression, integration, system, and UAT
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with HRMS-specific workflows, data privacy standards, and business logic
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams
  • Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in the HRMS domain
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and modules (e.g., Time & Attendance, Payroll, Performance Management)
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Postman, JMeter)
  • Experience with API testing and tools like REST Assured or SoapUI
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with biometric device integration testing (e.g., ZKTeco, ZKBio Time)
  • Knowledge of AI-driven analytics or smart HR dashboards
  • Exposure to cloud-based HRMS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300, ₹800,000.00 per year
