The idealcandidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, andperformance of our database systems, ensuring high availability and consistentperformance to support our healthcare applications.Key Responsibilities●       Database Design & Implementation: Designand implement database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored proceduresto support application development and data integrity. ●       Performance Tuning: Monitor databaseperformance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization. ●       Security & Compliance: Implement andmaintain database security measures, ensuring compliance with healthcareregulations and data privacy laws. ●       Backup & Recovery: Develop and managebackup and recovery plans to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity. ●       Collaboration: Work closely with developmentand operations teams to integrate database solutions into applicationworkflows. ●       Documentation: Maintain comprehensivedocumentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to developers andother technical staff.Requirements●       Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ●       Experience: Minimum of 9 years of experiencein database administration, with a focus on high -availability environments. ●       Technical Skills: ○       Proficiency in databasetechnologies such as NOSQL, SQL Server, MySQL.○       Experience with databaseprogramming languages like SQL, PL/SQL..○       Familiarity with cloud -baseddatabase solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).○       Experience reviewing SQL queriesin API functions○       Experience doing unit testing ofSQL queries used across the application and providing sign -off for productiondeployment○       Knowledge of database securitybest practices and compliance standards.○       Experience with performance tuningand optimization techniques. ●       Soft Skills: ○       Strong analytical andproblem -solving abilities.○       Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.○       Ability to work independently andas part of a team.○       Attention to detail and acommitment to quality.  Preferred Qualifications●       Certifications such as MicrosoftCertified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified Database –Specialty. ●       Experience in the healthcareindustry or with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
