JobDescription Position: Sr. Database Administrator (Oracle)Location: GurgaonExperience: Hands -on 7to 12 years of experience in IT industrypreferably in Oracle Database Implementationand understanding customer's requirements to recommend during Databaseactivity.Education: Btech/BE/MTECH/MCA or any computer science master's degree. Roles& Responsibilities:o A good knowledge of the operating system(s).o A good knowledge of physical database basics and thedesign of Oracle DB.o Ability to perform both Oracle and operating systemperformance monitoring and the necessary adjustments.o Be able to provide a strategic database directionfor the organization.o Excellent knowledge of Oracle backup and recoveryscenarios.o Good skills in all Oracle technology rac/dataguard/stream/active -passive using PCS cluster.o Good knowledge of Oracle security management likeFGA/TDE/data redaction.o Good knowledge of how Oracle acquires and managesresources.o Experience and knowledge in migrating code, databasechanges, data, and menus through the various stages of the development lifecycle.o Good knowledge of the way Oracle enforces dataintegrity.o Good knowledge of both database and program codeperformance tuning.o A DBA should possess a sound understanding of thebusiness.o Good knowledge and hands -on experiencein L3 -level issue resolution.o Good knowledge and hands -on experiencein database upgrade and patch processes.o Good knowledge of Capacity planning.o Good knowledge of Solutions and designing conceptsof Database and Storage.o A DBA should have sound communication skills withmanagement, development teams, vendors, systems administrators, and otherrelated service providers.o Open for onsite implementation. RequirementsSkill required: o Candidate should have strong knowledge of Oracle DBarchitecture and its design along with the components.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience on Oracle 11g/19c RAC and active -passive cluster architecture.o Candidate should have strong knowledge of theoperating system.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience in backup and recovery strategies.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience with FGA, Oracle TDE, and data redaction.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience in DB migration.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience in DB performance and tuning.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience in L3 level issues resolution.o Candidate should have strong knowledge and hands -onexperience on Oracle DG/ADG and High Availability configurations.o Candidate should be available 24*7.o Candidate should have strong knowledge of theexplain plan for any existing query and how to understand the main issue /problematic area of any query.o Candidate should have strong knowledge in databaseperformance analysis and tuning w.r.t application.o Strong knowledge of database backup and recoveryconcepts (PITR).o Good understanding of data segmentation and dataretention rules based on the application logic.o Hands -on experience and knowledge in databaseupgrade and patch processes.o Capacity planning.o Solution and designing concept of Database andStorage.o Comfortable in interacting with external vendors andinternal customers.
