About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – Pump Sales
will be responsible for driving sales and business growth for industrial and commercial pump products within the assigned region. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for pumps and related products.
· Identify and generate new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
· Manage relationships with existing customers, distributors, and channel partners to ensure repeat business.
· Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients and consultants.
· Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize orders in coordination with internal teams.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities.
· Coordinate with design, production, and service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM or other sales management tools.
· Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, and ethical business practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of pump systems, hydraulics, and fluid handling applications.
- Excellent sales negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
- Strong relationship management and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MBA in Marketing preferred).
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience in industrial or pump sales, preferably in sectors like water, wastewater, HVAC, or process industries.
- Industry Preference: Pump manufacturing, water treatment, EPC, or related engineering industries.
