We are seeking a highly motivated and technically sound Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to handle Project Sales for reputed international manufacturers represented by our company. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing sales opportunities with EPCs, Consultants, and end users in sectors such as Power, Mining & Minerals, Iron Ore, Red Mud, Ash Handling, and Slurry Transportation.
This role demands a blend of technical aptitude, relationship management, and project sales expertise, with a proven track record of engaging clients at senior levels and managing complex technical sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
a. Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned product lines in target sectors.
b. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with EPCs, consultants, and end users.
c. Manage the entire sales cycle from enquiry to order finalization.
d. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across industries including Power, Mines & Minerals, Iron Ore Slurry, Red Mud, and Dewatering Projects.
e. Present technical solutions and value propositions to customers and consultants.
f. Coordinate with principals and internal teams for offer preparation, technical clarifications, and negotiations.
g. Maintain updated records of project leads, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
h. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

The selected candidate will handle sales for the following products:
a. Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps
b. HCSD / PD Pumps
c. Centrifugal Pumps
d. Centrifugal Slurry Pumps
e. Oxidation Blowers
f. Vacuum Belt Filters
g. Agitators
h. Water Pumps
i. Motors
Required Skills & Experience
a. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in project sales of pumps, process equipment, or slurry handling systems.
b. Strong existing network with EPCs and Consultants such as Mecon, Ausenco, Paterson & Cooke, BRASS, FlowDynamiks, TCE, L&T, BHEL, NTPC, etc.
c. Proven experience with end customers such as *Tata Steel, Essar, AMNS, JSW, JSPL, Rungta, NALCO, Vedanta, and Hindalco.
d. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
e. Strong technical understanding and ability to discuss engineering solutions confidently.
f. Proactive, result-oriented, and self-driven personality.
g. Ability to work independently and travel extensively across India.
Preferred Qualifications
a. Experience in capital equipment sales or consultant-driven projects.
b. Prior experience in handling international principals or agencies.
c. Familiarity with project tendering processes and documentation.
