Role CI Process Analyst Job Summary

Company is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented CI Process Analyst to design, develop, and optimize reports, dashboards and analysis across manufacturing operations. This role involves managing data pipelines, integrating ERP, MES, QMS, CMMS and SCADA data into a structured data store for reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable data analysis and delivery on Ignition/PowerBI platform to support initiative product owners and PCTs.

Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Areas Key Activities Data Extraction & Wrangling

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate data from multiple systems.
  • Build daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports from SAP, MES (Dassault), SCADA (Ignition/Rockwell), QMS.

Project Analytics

  • Support CI projects by identifying baseline, target, and impact metrics for different initiatives.
  • Help calculate benefits from energy, throughput, lead yield, and downtime improvements.

Visualization & Reporting

  • Integrate IoT-generated data with manufacturing systems to enable real-time insights and decision-making.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and drilldowns for PCT and leadership review.

Shopfloor Engagement

  • Work closely with operators and engineers, and FoF initiative cluster leads to translating data into operational insights.
  • Understand manufacturing processes to push change management to the PCT

Data Quality & Compliance

  • Implement frameworks to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security with production reports.
  • Ensure data going into Ignition and other source of truth systems is accurate from the source

Value orientation

  • Responsible for throughput improvement through PCT driven CI projects

Required skillsData Tools

  • SQL (T-SQL or Oracle), Power BI, Excel, basic Python preferred.
  • Ignition platform understanding is a plus

Systems Integration

  • Familiarity with SAP reports, MES structures, SCADA logs.

Database Systems

  • Expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and knowledge of non-relational databases as needed.

Communication

  • Clear communicator; can explain insights to non-data users (e.g., supervisors).

Process Understanding

  • Basic knowledge of discrete manufacturing (battery and injection molding industry).

Nice to HaveIndustry 4.0 Familiarity

  • Understanding of smart manufacturing concepts, including predictive maintenance and digital twins.

QualificationsWork Experience

  • 36 years in manufacturing analytics, operations support, or CI roles.

Educational Background

  • B.E./B.Tech in Industrial, Mechanical, or equivalent with analytics exposure.

Preferred Industry Experience

  • Manufacturing, energy, or related industries with exposure to Industry 4.0.

Technical Certifications

  • Power BI Trained
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher preferred.
