Role : Performance Management PM

Job Summary

Cpmpany is looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the organization's performance management system initiatives as a part of Manufacturing Operations Center of Excellence. This role will drive the design, development, and execution of Lean based performance monitoring and improvement strategies that align with business objectives to improve throughput, uptime and capacity of different processes within battery and component manufacturing. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with site and enterprise Operations, Engineering, IT and OT partners to enable digital and automation systems to enable and lead process change teams (PCT) from the shopfloor involving supervisors, operators and technicians.

Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Areas Key Activities Shopfloor KPI Enablement

  • Lead rollout of real-time dashboards, digital logbooks, and TV-based visual controls at machine, line, and shift levels.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to standardize key KPIs like OEE, Uptime, Throughput, and Changeover Time.

Lean Execution Support

  • Translate Lean and CI principles into digital workflows and metrics.
  • Drive accountability through Tier-1 and Tier-2 meetings using digital tools.

Change Management

  • Facilitate engagement between operators, supervisors, and engineers (PCT teams).
  • Ensure adoption of new dashboards/logbooks through training and feedback loops.

Vendor Management

  • Partner with IT, engineering, and OT teams to ensure the setting up of business requirements and align on the correct logic for KPIs
  • Manage day-to-day standups, Agile sprint demonstrations and logical workflow requirements from AREML to the vendors

Operations Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as bridge between Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and IT/OT teams.
  • Consolidate use cases and feedback into product enhancements.

Value orientation

  • Responsible for throughput improvement through implementation of dashboards, alerts, notifications, paperless capture systems and PCT change management on shopfloor

Required skills LEAN/TPM based Performance Management

  • Understanding of OEE, downtime tracking, shift performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with Tier meeting systems, Lean metrics, and CI project tracking.

Tools & Systems

  • Experience with Ignition, Power BI, Rockwell HMI systems
  • Knowledge of assembly and discrete manufacturing processes

Soft Skills

  • Proven communication and decisioning ability with C Suite
  • Strong stakeholder management; comfort working with shopfloor teams with local language proficiency (Telugu/Tamil).

Good to have: Industry 4.0 Technologies

  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 principles and their applications, including smart manufacturing, and connected systems.

Digital Tooling Awareness

  • Knowledge of databases and MES systems
  • Experience with digital product development

Qualifications Work Experience

  • 6-10 years in Manufacturing or CI roles;
  • 2+ years managing digital tools in operations.

Educational Background

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or equivalent.

Preferred Industry Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma, TPM Foundation, or similar preferred.
