Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Purpose

This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd.
To reduce/maintain risk at current levels and improve portfolio quality, leading to lower losses.

Duties and Responsibilities PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Effective team and stakeholder management.
  • Regular engagement with cross functional team.
  • End to end understanding of loss projections in terms of AOP, recalibrated estimations done on a monthly basis with bounce/collection inputs/trends.
  • Responsible for analyzing departmental risk policies, portfolio analysis, policy audits, bounce analysis, and new customer acquisition analysis.
  • Regular engagement with stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and take policy actions on marginal segments.
  • Active engagement with RCU team to keep controls on fraud accounts at acquisition levels. Understanding past trends and building fraud trigger mechanisms.
  • Required system changes and controls to be explored and get this built in system.
  • Review Risk review and operating deck with the team and provide insights which will enhance portfolio quality.
  • Risk management, process enhancement, business analysis, and data analysis; take proactive corrective actions based on portfolio performance.
  • Understanding of SQL and automated BI reports to execute required outcomes.
  • Monitor risk metrics and highlight any stress/trends; simulate on historical data for projected impact of proposals.
  • Ensuring policies are aligned to customer requirements and capture the right segments mix, which helps in meeting targeted business volumes and budgeted loss rates.

Educational Qualifications

a) Qualifications
Post-graduate degree.
Prior knowledge of SQL.

b) Work Experience
8 years of underwriting/risk for unsecured products.
Experience in stakeholder management and team management.
