We are looking for an experienced
L3 Application Support Engineer
with strong expertise in the
Investment Banking
domain, preferably within
Market Risk
. The role involves providing high-level technical and functional support, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance of business-critical risk applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Level 3 (L3) technical support for Market Risk applications in a production environment.
  • Investigate and resolve complex production incidents by analyzing logs, code, and database queries.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
  • Oversee audit and compliance activities, ensuring process adherence and documentation accuracy.
  • Drive process improvement and automation to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Perform proactive monitoring and analysis to prevent potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders on incident status and resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Investment Banking or Market Risk domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience providing L3 production/application support in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and incident/problem management.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Consulting mindset with experience in process and workflow optimization.
