Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and resolve L3 escalations for Windows server issues—perform deep-dive root-cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes.
  • Design, deploy and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy objects, and related identity services to ensure availability and security.
  • Automate routine operational tasks and incident remediation using PowerShell scripts and runbooks; implement automation to reduce MTTR.
  • Manage and optimise virtual infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V), coordinate patching, capacity planning, and system hardening activities.
  • Maintain configuration and deployment tools (SCCM/Intune), handle OS/image deployments, software distribution, and endpoint compliance checks.
  • Produce and update technical documentation, runbooks, and post-incident reports; collaborate with networking and security teams on cross-functional projects.

Preferred

  • SCCM (ConfigMgr) or Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP and core TCP/IP troubleshooting
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE/Azure Administrator) or equivalent hands-on experience
