Job Title: Head – IT Governance and Program management

Location:
 Mumbai, Maharashtra

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced professionals as Head of IT Governance and Program Management who will be responsible for establishing and leading IT governance frameworks, managing IT risks, overseeing audits and regulatory compliance and governing transformation programs. This role requires strong leadership in IT Governance, program management, IT polices oversight, vendor governance, budget management and performance monitoring to align IT with business strategy and regulatory expectations

Key Responsibilities:

ü Establish and manage IT governance frameworks, policies, standards and processes. Ensure continuous reviews and alignment with regulatory needs

ü Develop and oversee IT risk management framework. Track, report and mitigate IT risks across enterprise

ü Manage and close all internal and external IT audits while ensuring regulatory reporting obligations are met

ü Govern IT transformation initiatives and major programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements

ü Monitor, track and report on all IT projects, program and key IT KPIs through performance dashboards and governance forums

ü Prepare management reports for IT Steering Committee (ITSC), Information Strategy Committee (ISC) and senior leadership

ü Oversee IT budget preparation, cost allocation and ongoing financial tracking

ü Govern IT outsourcing engagements, service contracts, vendor performance, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards

ü Drive IT resource planning to support transformation program, ongoing operations and future business needs

ü Handles IT procurement

ü Collaboration with stakeholders across IT, risks, business units, compliance, information security and external regulators

Required Skills & Experience:

ü 12–15 years of experience in IT Governance, Program management or technology risk leadership roles

ü Strong expertise in designing and IT Governance, risks and compliance frameworks

ü Proven track record of overseeing large scale IT transformation programs and complex portfolios

ü Deep knowledge of IT outsourcing, contract governance and vendor management

ü Experienced in internal and external IT audits and regulatory reporting

ü Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in IT budget and resource management

ü In-dept knowledge of SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, IT ownership responsibilities

ü Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership skills, communication and analytical skills

ü Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines and Information Security and data privacy standards

Preferred Qualifications:

ü Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering or equivalent

ü Preferred certification in Project management like PMP, Agile, Prince2 etc.

ü Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation programs in financial services

Well versed in lending system landscape like Loan origination, Loan management, Collections, Customer service, ERP, Treasury etc.
