Role & responsibilities

Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Department: Human Resources

Organization: - Vidyalankar Group of Institutions, Wadala (E), Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition

  2. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand manpower requirements and create effective recruitment plans.

  3. Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  4. Leverage multiple sourcing channels (job portals, social media, referrals, campus tie-ups, etc.) to attract top talent.
  5. Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
  6. Maintain database of candidates

  7. Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and dashboards for management review.

  8. Onboarding & Induction

  9. Design and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

  10. Conduct induction sessions to orient employees with institutional policies, culture, and values.

  11. Ensure documentation, background checks, and joining formalities are completed accurately and on time.

  12. Exit Management

  13. Coordinate the exit process, ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements.

  14. Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify trends.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in HR, Business Administration or related field (Post graduate in HR preferred but not mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the education sector/ service industry is desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, onboarding practices, and exit formalities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
