Job Description : Area Sales Executive (HoReCa / Institutional Sales)
Locations: Pune , Goa
Industry: FMCG
Experience Required: 2-6 years in Institutional or HoReCa Sales Qualification : Graduate / MBA in Marketing
About the Company
A fast-growing food processing organization with a diversified portfolio catering to the food service and beverage industry. The company manufactures and markets a wide range of high-quality food products used by hotels, restaurants, caterers, and institutional clients.
Role Objective
To drive sales growth and market penetration in the assigned territory by managing Institutional (HoReCa) clients, distributors, and key accounts, ensuring achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Institutional (HoReCa) Sales:
- Develop and manage business with hotels, restaurants, caterers, and other institutional customers in the assigned region.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and chefs.
- Business Planning & Growth:
- Plan and execute territory sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Distributor Management:
- Appoint, manage, and support distributors and channel partners to ensure effective product availability.
- Ensure timely payments and adherence to company policies by distributors.
- Sales Execution & Coverage:
- Design route coverage plans and ensure product placement and visibility across HoReCa accounts.
- Monitor stock levels, deliveries, and order fulfillment through coordination with supply chain teams.
- Market Intelligence:
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to support business decisions.
- Generate periodic sales reports and performance analyses for management review.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate / MBA with 2-6 years of experience in Institutional / HoReCa Sales (Food & Beverage / FMCG / Processed Food industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of Pune ,Goa HoReCa markets and customer network.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
