Role: Hardware Lead Engineer 
Location: Hyderabad

About the role
The candidate will be part of KGS Hyderabad Design team  working with dynamic cross functional global Hardware team performing Systems requirements analysis, Hardware Designs for our next generation products. The selected candidate will interact frequently with technical program management both locally and global team. Will need to work with customers at global locations across different time-zone.

JD-Hardware resource for Kidde-Resi HIEC 

Required Technical Skills:     


•    Min 10 years industry experience in the area of embedded systems and electronic hardware development.

•    Experience in micro-controller & micro-processor-based hardware designs with communication interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, Wi-Fi Chipset, wireless modules and external memories etc.

•    Experience in design of hardware solutions based on Wi-Fi (IEEE , Bluetooth, BLE and Sub-GHz RF.

•    Proficiency in Schematic capture tools like Altium/OrCAD/PADS is a must.

•    Proficiency in circuit analysis, circuit simulation using PSpice/Mathcad/Matlab and circuit tolerance analysis is required.

•    Proficiency in using electronic test instruments like DSO and Spectrum analyzer for HW testing & debugging purpose.

•    Update and maintain detailed schematics, components library, BOM and design documents for products.

•    Need to work with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams for successful collaboration in development of the quality products.

Preferred Technical Skills:    


•    Experience in design of microcontrollers/microprocessor hardware solutions using STM32 series, TI's MSPxxx series, NXP, Renesas MCUs, etc.

•    Experience in DC-DC switching power supply design.

•    Experience in RF circuit design of embedded wireless systems like 
Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Zigbee/ISM band (900 MHz/2.4 GHz) radio systems.

•    Experience in design of EMI/EMC compliance system adhere to UL and FCC certification testing is a plus.

•    Experience with PCB layout tools like Altium/OrCAD/PADS layout.

•    Strong technical systems background, Solid written and verbal communication skills
