Job Summary:

We are seeking a
detail-oriented and hands-on professional
to oversee inventory accuracy, logistics operations, quality inspection, and safe packaging of goods. The role involves managing warehouse teams, coordinating suppliers, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring every item meets quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS.
  • Conduct regular
    stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation
    to eliminate discrepancies.
  • Monitor
    stock levels, reorder points, and inventory turnover
    for smooth operations.
  • Ensure goods are stored systematically, labeled clearly, and handled safely.

Quality Check & Assurance

  • Inspect furniture, appliances, and other items upon arrival and before dispatch.
  • Implement a
    QC checklist
    to check for damages, wear/tear, and functionality.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve defective product issues and track returns.
  • Train warehouse staff on quality inspection and product handling protocols.

Packaging & Handling

  • Ensure
    proper packaging
    of all items for safe transit, including protective wrapping for fragile goods.
  • Standardize packing materials (bubble wrap, cartons, straps, etc.) and packaging SOPs.
  • Supervise
    loading/unloading
    processes to minimize damages during transit.

Logistics & Delivery Operations

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Coordinate with transport vendors and drivers for
    cost-effective route planning
    .
  • Track delivery performance and ensure
    on-time order fulfillment
    .
  • Optimize vehicle utilization and minimize logistics costs.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Collaborate with suppliers for timely procurement and replenishment.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with logistics partners.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly
    reports on stock, QC results, damages, and delivery metrics
    .
  • Maintain dispatch notes, invoices, gate passes, and other logistics records.
  • Ensure compliance with
    company SOPs, safety standards, and statutory regulations
    .

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years in inventory, warehouse, QC, or logistics operations (mid-level).
  • Freshers with relevant internships for entry-level roles.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    ERP/WMS systems, MS Excel/Google Sheets, QC and packaging SOPs.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse layout planning, inventory cycle counting, and vehicle routing.
  • Excellent coordination and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to lead and train warehouse/packaging teams.
  • Physically fit to oversee warehouse activities.

Work Conditions:

  • Location:
    Warehouse (hands-on floor supervision).
  • Working Hours:
    6 days/week; flexibility during seasonal peaks.
  • Team:
    Supervises warehouse associates, delivery boys, QC/packaging staff.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in
    furniture, appliance rental, or e-commerce logistics
    .
  • Knowledge of
    damage control SOPs, return processing, and refurbishment processes
    .
  • Familiarity with
    FIFO, LIFO, lean inventory practices
    .
  • Hands-on exposure to
    last-mile delivery.
