Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality 2 Wheeler spare parts from suppliers (distributors and wholesalers)
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to maintain a reliable and diverse supply chain.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all sourced spare parts meet our quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely on inventory management to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or service levels.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sourcing strategies with marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to track sourcing performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all sourcing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation, preferably in the spare parts industry and startup.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with sourcing software/tools.
