Job Summary:
Ensure excellence in teaching, research, and service while aligning departmental goals with institutional objectives.
Key Responsibilities(not limited to):
- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction to the department.
- Manage teaching assignments, workload distribution, and faculty development.
- Oversee curriculum design and program quality.
- Facilitate research activities and collaborations.
- Monitor departmental budget and resources.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
- Address student and faculty grievances.
- Foster industry and academic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with a minimum of 10–15 years of academic experience.
- Prior leadership experience preferred (e.g., as Professor or Associate Professor).
- Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in teaching, research, and academic leadership.
Job Title: Dean
Job Summary:
Responsible for strategic planning, academic quality, faculty development, budget management, and external relations.
Key Responsibilities(not limited to):
- Lead the faculty's academic, research, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with university goals.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, research, and student experience.
- Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance reviews.
- Oversee budget preparation, allocation, and financial planning.
- Build partnerships with industry, government, and academic institutions.
- Promote interdisciplinary research and innovation.
- Represent the faculty in university-level committees and external bodies.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with extensive academic experience (15+ years).
- Strong leadership and management experience in higher education.
- Recognized academic standing with a proven research record.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
