Veterinary Sales Officer

Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive sales in the assigned territory through a focused approach with existing and new customers.
- Initiate contact with potential clients, build and sustain strong business relationships.
- Achieve sales growth targets by effectively managing available resources.
- Implement strategic business plans to expand the companys customer base.
- Establish long-term client relations through regular follow-ups and meetings.
- Develop and maintain a full pipeline of prospective clients and manage the assigned geographic area.
- Work closely with the reporting manager to develop territory plans aligned with company goals.
- Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, and market presence.
- Participate in government tenders, bids, and rate contract processes.
- Attend and organize trade exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events to strengthen brand visibility.
Required Qualification
- Education: M.V.Sc / B.V.Sc / B.Pharma (Doctorate preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1–4 years in Veterinary Marketing / Pharmaceutical Sales, preferably in the Companion Animal Segment.
Key Competencies
- Veterinary product selling, collection, monitoring, and strong market knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong planning and territory management ability.
- Must own a two-wheeler (mandatory) and be willing to travel extensively.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Email communication.
