Brief

The position monitors and responds to security events from managed customer security systems as part of a team on a rotating 24 x 7 x 365 basis. They are alert and aggressive to filter out suspicious activity and mitigate risks before any incident occurs. Your background should include exposure to security technologies including firewalls, IPS/IDS, logging, monitoring and vulnerability management. You should understand network security practices. Excellent customer service while solving problems should be a top priority for you.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Hands on virtual or physical firewalls (Plus point if Sophos)

  • Active Directory Management

  • SIEM/SOAR tool integration, alerting and monitoring

  • Network Sub-netting and VLAN creation

  • Good Hands on Windows host Troubleshooting

  • Windows Server Management

  • Email Monitoring

  • Ticketing and Support Tools handling

  • Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, kill chain and threat intelligence

- Incident handling and malware analysis

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • B.Tech / Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and 1-3 years work experience in a relevant role, i.e. SOC Lead, Incident Response, Cybersecurity Threat Analyst
  • Attention to detail in conducting analysis combined with an ability to accurately record full documentation in support of their work.
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with event analysis leveraging below mentioned tools
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
