As a Team Lead - DevOps, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing robust infrastructure solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based systems. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficiency of the technology ecosystem.
This role requires deep expertise in DevOps best practices, modern infrastructure technologies, and a passion for building resilient, scalable systems that support business growth at scale.
Experience Range: 6+ years (Team Lead level)
Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science/Information Technology
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management & Operations
- Manage and optimize web infrastructure consisting of Linux servers across multiple environments
- Configure and tune servers based on specific roles (Web servers, Database servers, Application servers, Media servers, Load balancers)
- Ensure high availability of servers and applications through comprehensive monitoring, automated scripts, and proactive maintenance
- Continuously optimize request delivery and server performance based on application requirements and traffic patterns
- Maintain robust backup strategies for configuration and critical data
Cloud & DevOps Engineering
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms including VPC, EC2, ELB, Route53, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, CloudFront and DynamoDB
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git repositories
- Architect and maintain high availability, low latency applications with a focus on scalability
- Implement security best practices and support compliance activities
Leadership & Technical Excellence
- Provide technical consultancy to product and development teams on efficient system design
- Lead 24x7 monitoring initiatives and incident response procedures
- Write and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment
- Manage container orchestration platforms and microservices architecture
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams

Technical RequirementsMandatory Skills
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in development, system design, or infrastructure engineering
- System Administration: In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and server management
- Programming: Development experience in at least two languages (PHP, Go, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Bash)
- Web Servers: Expert knowledge of Apache and Nginx configuration and optimization
- DevOps Tools: Proficiency in Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, ELK Stack
- Monitoring: Experience with APM tools (NewRelic preferred)
- Cloud Platforms: Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- System Design: Strong understanding of resilient systems architecture and network design
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and technical mentoring abilities
Preferred Skills
- Database Systems: Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra)
- Configuration Management: Experience with Nagios, Chef, Puppet, Terraform
- Distributed Systems: Working knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ
- Caching Solutions: Experience with Varnish or Nginx as cache servers
- High-Scale Systems: Experience managing high-traffic, highly scalable applications
- Container Orchestration: Advanced Kubernetes and Docker Swarm experience
- Clustering: Knowledge of Red Hat Cluster Suite
