Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented Business Development Executive | Academic Coordinator to join our EdTech team. This role combines inside sales, academic coordination, and student counseling support, with a key focus on selling online MBA and PG programs. You will play a critical role in managing and converting student inquiries, supporting academic counselors, and ensuring smooth admissions operations from inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inside Sales & Cold Calling:

  • Conduct daily outbound cold calls to prospective students to promote online MBA and other PG programs.
  • Understand student needs, provide accurate course information, and guide them through the application process.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead conversion targets.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline through lead qualification, follow-ups, and strong relationship management.

Admissions & Academic Coordination:

  • Assist academic counselors in handling incoming inquiries, scheduling appointments, and preparing student documentation.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate student records in CRM systems, track inquiry status, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Coordinate and organize webinars, virtual info sessions, and Q&A events for prospective students.

Student Engagement:

  • Act as a key point of contact for prospective students via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Provide in-depth information about course offerings, admission criteria, and payment options.
  • Regularly engage with leads to keep them informed, motivated, and moving through the admissions funnel.

Market Insights & Reporting:

  • Gather feedback from leads and applicants to improve pitch effectiveness and counselor support.
  • Analyze inquiry trends, student demographics, and sales conversions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare reports on student engagement metrics, inquiry follow-ups, and sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in academic sales, EdTech inside sales, or student counseling support.
  • Proven experience in cold calling, lead conversion, or selling education products/services.
  • Strong command of CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and communication tools.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Hindi (regional languages a plus).
  • High energy, self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the EdTech ecosystem, particularly online MBA/PG programs, is highly desirable.
