Job Profile

  1. Within Budget & on time Design development
  2. Design Support to Project Execution, NPD Cost Estimation
  3. Knowledge enhancement, Documentation and Value Engg.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To carry out timely and accurate design development of BTP/BTS projects

  2. To get timely customer approvals on design/deviations proposals/clarifications.

  3. To ensure manufacturability of design issued through design reviews/inputs from past execution.

  4. To provide prompt support/technical decisions to manufacturing, procurement, Quality for faster & cost-effective project execution

  5. To Carry out NPD Estimations

  6. To develop product documentation like Design Manuals and provide technical support during site installations.

  7. To contribute to design process improvements through guidelines, Godrej standards, project learning, etc.

  8. To support and contribute to divisional initiatives like Kaizens, Safety, IMS, Office TPM, in Design

  9. To Guide and train CAD Engineers

  10. To drive process improvements for CAD Engineers productivity enhancement.

  11. To ensure online tracking of design man-days, schedule performance and other design performance Indicators.

  12. Todevelop IT tools for Productivity tracking & Improvement through GITL

Requisite Qualification

BE (Mechanical / Production)

Experience in Defense and Nuclear Equipment (BARC, Indian Navy and Exports)
