Key Details of the Role Position

Title: Head of Human Resources

  • Employment Basis: 11-month fixed-term contract, with renewal and conversion potential based on performance and departmental growth.
  • Location: Bengaluru
  • Travel: Readiness to travel frequently to other parts of Karnataka and other states for official review purposes.
  • Reporting & Guidance:
  • You will be on Shikshakji's payroll.
  • You will operate under the direct guidance and mentorship of Senior HR Leaders.
  • You are expected to work in close connect and collaboration with the Top Management.
  • Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the HR strategy, policies, and processes for two major organizational divisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving performance against clear metrics.
  • HR Tech & Digital Transformation: Champion the integration and optimization of HR Technology (HR Tech) to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Exposure to ZOHO HRMS is a good preference, but not a limitation.
  • Change Management: Lead, manage, and communicate significant organizational and cultural change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and high employee engagement.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all statutory requirements and be well versed with Listing Guidelines relevant to the organization's structure.
  • Metric-Driven Growth: Lead the HR Department on defined metrics and growth standards, utilizing data analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Talent Management: Oversee and enhance the entire talent lifecycle, including acquisition, performance management, training, and succession planning.
  • Mentorship & Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the HR team. Training, coaching, and mentoring will be provided as and when needed to support professional growth.
  • Candidate Profile Essentials Proven experience as an HR Head or a similar strategic leadership role within an organization with an annual turnover of ₹200 Crore and above.
  • Deep practical knowledge and successful implementation experience with HR Tech platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading Change Management initiatives.
  • Mandatory thorough understanding of Listing Guidelines and their impact on HR governance and compliance.
  • Strong command over all core HR Processes (Talent Acquisition, Performance, Compensation, and Compliance).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in collaborating with Top Management and Senior HR Leaders.
