Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Executive (Procurement) who will be responsible for vendor sourcing, rate contracts, negotiations, and procurement of medical & surgical consumables and implants at the central level. The role also involves managing procurement operations of group hospitals as directed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process daily purchase requests from hospitals and ensure approvals.
  • Review & update Indent / PO status, prepare technical & cost comparative statements.
  • Verify purchase orders and ensure received items match specifications.
  • Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery and manage supplier performance.
  • Maintain and update approved supplier lists with evaluations and analysis.
  • Implement procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Handle liquidation/vendor returns of non-moving stock.
  • Prepare monthly procurement reports and ensure cost optimization.
  • Resolve discrepancies in invoices, claims for damaged materials, and delays.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Graduate, preferably MBA in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience: 45 years in hospital procurement (Lab Consumables / Medical & Surgical Consumables & Implants)
  • Technical Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, MS Excel & PowerPoint expertise

  • Behavioural Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal & conflict management skills

  • Collaborative team player
  • Strong verbal & written communication (English & Hindi)
