Job Overview

The
Parent Relationship Associate – Collections
will be responsible for managing fee collections and maintaining healthy relationships with parents/guardians at Vidyapeeth centers. The role involves regular follow-ups, payment coordination, and resolution of fee-related concerns while ensuring a professional and empathetic approach. This position plays a critical role in revenue realization and parent satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding
    pending fees, installments, and overdue payments
  • Conduct
    telephonic follow-ups, WhatsApp communication, and in-person discussions
    for fee recovery
  • Maintain accurate records of collections, commitments, and payment statuses
  • Explain
    fee structures, payment plans, due dates, and policies
    clearly to parents
  • Escalate critical cases to senior management as per defined protocols
  • Resolve parent queries related to payments in a
    polite and solution-oriented manner
  • Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure smooth parent communication
  • Ensure timely achievement of
    monthly collection targets
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and student-related data
  • Generate and share regular
    collection reports and MIS
    with the concerned team

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong
    communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle
    difficult conversations professionally and empathetically
  • Good follow-up and persuasion skills
  • Basic knowledge of
    collections, recovery, or fee management
  • Comfortable with
    calling-based roles
    and payment discussions
  • Proficient in
    MS Excel / Google Sheets
    for tracking and reporting
  • High level of integrity, patience, and accountability

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduation in any discipline (Commerce / Management preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in
    collections, recovery, customer service, or parent-facing roles
  • Experience in
    EdTech / Education / Banking / NBFC / Telecom collections
    is an added advantage
  • Comfortable working in an onsite, target-driven environment
