Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, including Contract Labour Act, Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, etc.
  • Manage contract labour management system to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide labour welfare services to employees in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement in statutory compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any issues related to labour laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Labour Studies (MLS) or Social Work (MSW)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in statutory compliance and contract labour management.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and related regulations (e.g., Factory Act, EPF, ESI, Contract Labour Act).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, contract vendors, and employees.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
