Job Title: Senior Developer - C/C++/Linux/Networking Protocol

Location: Gurugram

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled C/C++ Developer with strong expertise in IPsec protocol stack and Routing protocols. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure, high-performance networking software for embedded and system-level platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize C/C++ networking modules with focus on IPsec/IKEv1/v2 protocols.
  • Implement ESP/AH, encryption/decryption, authentication methods, and PKI-based security.
  • Develop and maintain routing protocol implementations (BGP, OSPF, RIP, IS-IS).
  • Work on Linux networking stack, including Netfilter, XFRM framework, and socket programming.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex networking issues using tools like gdb, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
  • Collaborate with hardware, QA, and system teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant RFC standards for IPsec and routing protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong programming expertise in C and C++.
  • Proven hands-on experience with IPsec protocols (ESP, AH, IKEv1/v2).
  • Solid understanding of key exchange (PSK, certificates, EAP) and PKI/certificates.
  • Good knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, IS-IS).
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack, packet forwarding, and Linux networking internals.
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming, performance tuning, and memory management.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to DPDK, VPP, or hardware acceleration frameworks.
  • Experience with TLS/DTLS, MPLS, GRE, VXLAN tunneling protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with network security appliances, VPNs, or firewalls.

Education

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.Role & responsibilities
