Role Overview

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with at least 3+ years of experience in crafting seamless user experiences for eCommerce platforms. Prior experience in designing for community-driven applications or platforms will be a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating user-centric designs, improving customer journeys, and ensuring an accessible, engaging, and intuitive interface.

Key Responsibilities

  • UI/UX design process from research to final implementation for web and mobile applications.
  • Design intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to enhance the user experience.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in design, considering senior-friendly UI/UX best practices.
  • Optimize the design for eCommerce conversion and engagement metrics.
  • Work on community-driven features that enhance user interaction and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components for consistency.
  • Stay updated on the latest UX/UI trends, design tools, and best practices in eCommerce and community platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in eCommerce or community-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and other UI/UX tools.
  • Strong understanding of user psychology, interaction design, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience with user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to refine designs.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (not mandatory but a plus).
  • Knowledge of designing for mobile-first and responsive web applications.
  • Ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in designing for senior-friendly digital interfaces or accessibility-focused platforms.
  • Previous work in a community app or platform that encourages social engagement.
