As an active organisation in the education, skilling and research space, Naxxatra Sciences is partnering with the reputed Kishkinda Trust to enable on-ground programs in rural Karnataka. Naxxatra is supporting the hiring and program development needs of TKT Foundation, while enabling government school students to access our high quality educational experiences. Please note that this role will be a full-time employment under The Kishkinda Trust, with Naxxatra Sciences acting as an advisory and support body for the initial training and on-boarding.

This role is a full-time, on-site role, based in the TKT centre, close to the beautiful, ancient city of Hampi.

Founded in 1997, The Kishkinda Trust (TKT) has been a pioneering force in
heritage conservation, cultural entrepreneurship, and responsible tourism among other projects

in Anegundi, part of the Hampi UNESCO World Heritage Site. Under the vision of Shama Pawar, TKT nurtures the local community through capacity building, crafts and design, cultural tourism, festivals, and architectural conservation—creating a unique model for rural regeneration where the past inspires the future.

Role Summary

We are seeking a
highly organised, culturally sensitive, and dynamic individual

to work closely with Shama Pawar in her multifaceted role as conservationist, designer, and social leader.

This is not a conventional "assistant" role—it is an opportunity to step into the heart of a living cultural movement, where your contributions will directly shape projects in heritage restoration, crafts, tourism, and the arts. You will
coordinate executive tasks, manage communications, and provide project support

while becoming an integral bridge between TKT's vision and the wider world.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Communication Support

  • Manage and
    maintain Shama Pawar's calendar, appointments, and travel schedules.
  • Draft, review, and send correspondence with sensitivity to tone and context.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams, artisans, partners, and external collaborators.
  • Represent TKT with professionalism and warmth in meetings or
    cultural forums.
  • Take initiative to understand the full breadth of the TKT ecosystem, and create systems to optimize the flow of
    tracking tasks, partner communications and programs

.
- Follow a clear system to bring order to the organization's archives,
digital content and documentation of projects.
- Work on key on-ground tasks including coordinating program
logistics with the local team,

while following instructions from the leadership.
- Maintain an active presence of TKT's  activities
on digital or social platforms with regular updates of on-ground events.

Administrative & Project Coordination

  • Organize and
    maintain project files, archives, and digital resources.
  • Support task management and follow-ups across multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate with artisans, vendors, designers, and external stakeholders.

Research & Sourcing

  • Source materials,
    skilled professionals, and service providers as needed.
  • Build and maintain a network of reliable suppliers and collaborators.
  • Maintain digital resources on various projects

so as to efficiently share with relevant stakeholders and partners.

Creative & Cultural Engagement

  • Assist in drafting presentations, proposals, and simple reports.
  • Contribute ideas that reflect TKT's ethos of heritage-led development.
