Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA or local safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the manufacturing processes.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Monitor the use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigate workplace accidents and near misses, preparing detailed incident reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct regular environmental impact assessments and audits.
- Promote initiatives to minimize environmental impact, such as energy efficiency and waste reduction.
- Organize regular HSE training sessions for employees, including emergency response drills.
- Conduct safety orientation for new hires.
- Create and distribute safety communications, such as posters, newsletters, and alerts.
- Primarily on-site in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and potential hazards.
- Frequent need to wear PPE and adhere to strict safety protocols
