Position Overview:

The Executive Legal & Administration will be responsible for handling all legal, compliance, and administrative functions of the housing society. The role requires a law graduate with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience who can independently manage society documentation, liaise with government authorities, and ensure smooth governance as per the applicable laws and bye-laws.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal & Compliance:

  • Ensure the housing society's compliance with all statutory requirements under the Cooperative Societies Act and related regulations.
  • Draft, review, and maintain agreements, contracts, and legal notices.
  • Handle correspondence and represent the society in matters involving legal advisors, government authorities, or other stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation related to property ownership, conveyance, share certificates, and member records.
  • Maintain proper legal records, audit documents, and minutes of meetings.

2. Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate and assist in conducting Managing Committee and General Body meetings, including preparation of agenda, notices, and minutes.
  • Supervise day-to-day administrative operations of the society.
  • Manage vendor contracts, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), and ensure timely renewals.
  • Support the committee in budgeting, collection of maintenance dues, and resolving member grievances.

3. Liaison & Coordination:

  • Liaise with the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Municipal Corporation, Police, and other statutory bodies.
  • Coordinate with auditors, legal consultants, and facility management teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
  • 4–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in real estate, cooperative housing societies, or property management.
  • Sound understanding of cooperative laws, property registration, and RERA-related matters.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and coordination skills.
